Vincent M. Aquilino

Vince provides tax advice on financial transactions, including public finance transactions in connection with bond issuers, underwriters, financial advisors and other members of the public finance community, leasing structures, asset-backed securities, real estate mortgage investment conduits, real estate investment trusts, leveraged leases, tax-exempt bonds, limited partner syndications, and a variety of corporate lending transactions.

He has served as a panelist or speaker at numerous seminars on legal issues relating to a variety of financial products. He has testified before the Department of the Treasury on numerous occasions with respect to proposed regulations dealing with original issue discount, accounting issues, and the taxation of derivative products. He regularly speaks at professional seminars on federal income tax issues and has taught law school federal income tax courses.

Vince was previously chair of the Tax Department of Chapman and Cutler and a partner at the law firm of Katten Muchin Zavis Rosenman.
