News: Ungaretti & Harris selected as finalist for Deal of the Year in two categories by M&A Advisor

The bankruptcy sale of Fairview Ministries, Inc. to Lifespace DG, LLC., a transaction led by Ungaretti & Harris, has been selected as a finalist for the 10th Annual M&A Advisor Awards in the categories of Lower Middle-Market Deal of the Year and Healthcare/Life Sciences Sector Transaction of the Year.

As debtors' counsel, Ungaretti & Harris completed the successful sale of Fairview Ministries to Lifespace under section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code, which resulted in almost 50% more recovery to secured lenders than was originally estimated based on pre-bankruptcy marketing of the properties.

The awards gala will be held at the New York Athletic Club on December 13, 2011, where winners will be announced.
