News: Ungaretti & Harris Grows Intellectual Property Practice with Addition of New Counsel

Chicago, June 9, 2010 – Ungaretti & Harris LLP announced today that James J. Jagoda has joined the firm as Counsel in the Intellectual Property Group.

Mr. Jagoda has a wide range of experience in all phases of intellectual property law and has extensive litigation experience in the Federal Courts at both the trial and appellate levels. His litigation experience includes all aspects of litigation from complaint through appeal. Mr. Jagoda manages clients’ intellectual property assets, and drafts and prosecutes domestic and foreign patent, trademark, and copyright applications. He also counsels clients with respect to patent and trademark clearance opinions, patentability, and patent, trademark, and copyright infringement.

Mr. Jagoda received his J.D. with Honors from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1988 and his B.S. from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1983.
