Theodore R. Tetzlaff

Ted concentrates his practice on corporate governance and complex litigation matters.

Prior to joining Ungaretti & Harris, Ted was a partner at McGuireWoods from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that he was a partner with Jenner & Block LLP for more than 20 years where he served as Chairman of the Executive Committee and Operations and Finance Committee. Ted also served as General Counsel for Tenneco Inc. from 1992 through 1999. He served as Vice President, Law and External Affairs for the Cummins Engine Company from 1980-1982.

After graduating from law school, Ted began his career in public service as a legislative assistant to U.S. Representative John Brademas, D-Ind. He worked for the Western Center on Law and Poverty at the University of San Diego and served as Acting Director for the Federal Office of Legal Services of the Office of Economic Opportunity.
