Tim concentrates his practice in complex litigation matters in the areas of securities and general commercial litigation.
His recent experience includes:

Obtaining summary judgment on behalf of a national laboratory testing company in a case asserting claims for defamation and negligence related to its testing and results.

Obtaining dismissal of a tortuous interference claim on behalf of a national laboratory testing company related to a real estate dispute with its largest competition.

Representing an Illinois insurance company in contesting Department of Insurance protective orders including cease and desist protective orders and protective orders seeking extraordinary Department of Insurance supervision.

Representing an Illinois insurance company in defending litigation proceedings at both the regulatory and Circuit Court levels.

Counseling an Illinois insurance company in connection with the redemption of one its 50% shareholders.

Obtaining the dismissal of multi-million dollar RICO and fraud cases against a Fortune 100 company arising from an alleged conspiracy to defraud based on false research.

Representing large, full-service brokerage firms in litigating injunctive proceedings and arbitration matters, including misappropriation of trade secrets, raiding, and covenants not to compete.

Representing large, full-service brokerage firms in the defense of investors' claims of unsuitability, fraud, and misrepresentation in the sale of securities.

Defending a Fortune 20 company against claims of breach of contract, promissory estoppel, false advertising and patent infringement.

Representing a large Chicago-area medical device manufacturer as part of a national defense team for products liability suits against the company.
