News: Ungaretti & Harris Strengthens Healthcare Practice With Addition of Steven Banghart

Chicago, June 5, 2008 – Ungaretti & Harris LLP announced today that Steven F. Banghart has joined the firm as a partner in the Healthcare Department.

Previously a partner with Katten Muchin Rosenman, Mr. Banghart focuses his practice on the corporate representation of healthcare providers, including transactional and regulatory analyses, and in the development and implementation of multiple provider health care delivery systems and hospital/physician relationships.

“We are very happy to have Steve join our Healthcare team,” said Managing Partner Thomas M. Fahey. “His extensive experience in both the transactional and regulatory aspects of healthcare will be a great complement to our existing practice.”

Mr. Banghart is a former chairman of the Illinois State Bar Association Health Care Section Council, and was selected by the American Medical Association to be a participant in the AMA’s Solutions Consulting Link.

Mr. Banghart received his J.D. with honors from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1983, his M.H.S.A. from the University of Michigan in 1976, and his B.A. from Michigan State University in 1974.
