News: Two Ungaretti & Harris Attorneys Elected to Partnership

Chicago, October 22, 2009 – Ungaretti & Harris LLP announced today that two new attorneys have been elected to partnership. Amy M. Gardner and Timothy E. Horton are partners in the Litigation Department.

Ms. Gardner concentrates her practice in general commercial litigation and intellectual property litigation. She earned her J.D. in 2002 from the University of Chicago Law School and her B.A. magna cum laude in 1997 from Luther College.

Mr. Horton concentrates his practice in complex litigation matters in the areas of securities and general commercial litigation. He received his J.D. in 2002 from the University of Notre Dame Law School and his A.B. in 1999 from the College of the Holy Cross.

First-Year Associates

Ungaretti & Harris also welcomes two first-year associates to the firm. Jennifer M. Carroll, 30, has joined as an associate in the Healthcare Department. Ms. Carroll earned her J.D. cum laude in 2009 from the University of Illinois College of Law and her B.A. in 2001 from the University of Illinois.

Erica R. Cortez, 29, has joined as an associate in the Litigation Department. Ms. Cortez earned her J.D. in 2009 from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her B.S. cum laude in 2004 from San Jose State University.
