Litigation Partner Kevin P. Shea will speak on electronic and paper document retention policies as part of the National Association of Wholesalers' Billion Dollar Company CIO Roundtable on December 3.
Subjects covered will include: the legal requirements and obligations for a retention policy; guidelines for the components of a retention policy, including the goals, business purposes and costs; guidelines for the proper implementation of a retention policy; and the necessary steps for the suspension of destruction policy in the event of litigation.
