Michael Sklar is Of Counsel to the firm in the Corporate, Securities & Finance Department.

Michael concentrates his practice in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions matters. In practice for more than 40 years, Michael has negotiated and closed hundreds of transactions for diverse service and manufacturing businesses in addition to providing legal services to his publicly and privately owned business clients on a day-to-day basis.

He has handled transactions ranging in size from less than $1 million in value to those exceeding $100 million. He has first-chaired or supervised other lawyers in asset and stock sales, creation and funding of Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), debt transactions representing borrowers and lenders, public securities sales of debt and equity, leveraged and management buyouts, and going private transactions, among others.
