News: Ungaretti & Harris Attorneys Chair, Speak at Major Business Agreements Conference

Chicago, October 15, 2007 — Three Ungaretti & Harris attorneys are slated to speak at the 7th Annual Negotiating and Drafting Major Business Agreements Conference, held October 18-19 at The Drake Hotel.

David A. Bronner, Partner in the Corporate, Securities & Finance Department, serves as Program Chair. In addition to making opening and closing remarks, Mr. Bronner will present on asset, stock and merger agreements. Mr. Bronner, who received his J.D. from the University of Chicago and his B.A. with honors from New York University, focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, securities and general corporate law.

Robert S. Winner, also a Partner in the Corporate Department, will speak on letters of intent. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, workouts, and general commercial transactions. Mr. Winner received his J.D. in 1997 from the DePaul University College of Law where he was Editor-in-Chief of the DePaul Business Law Journal and his B.A. in 1994 from Washington University.

Corporate Associate David R. Brown will present on joint ventures and strategic alliances. He focuses his practice on general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and finance. Mr. Brown received his J.D. with honors in 2000 from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and his B.A. in 1997 from the University of Illinois.

The conference, presented by Insight Information, will address the issues and challenges that often surround major business agreements.
