Real Estate Attorney Richard Levy Joins Ungaretti & Harris

Chicago, April 8, 2009 – Ungaretti & Harris LLP announced today that Richard H. Levy has joined the firm as a partner in the Real Estate Department.
Previously a partner with Schain, Burney, Ross & Citron, Ltd., Mr. Levy focuses his practice in the areas of real estate and construction law, representing developers, builders, general contractors and financial institutions on matters such as acquisitions and dispositions, workouts, distressed assets, financing, land use, mechanic’s liens and architectural and construction contracts.
Mr. Levy is a past chairman of the Association of Attorneys and Executives in Corporate Real Estate, as well as an advisory board member and adjunct professor at the Chicago School of Real Estate at Roosevelt University. He received his J.D. summa cum laude from DePaul University College of Law in 1976 and his B.A. from the University of Colorado in 1966.
Ungaretti & Harris is also pleased to welcome new Litigation Associate Lindsay Wilson Gowin to the firm. Previously an associate at Schopf & Weiss LLP, she focuses her practice in commercial litigation. Ms. Gowin received her J.D. from Columbia University in 2004 and her B.A. from the University of Illinois in 2001.
