Floyd D. Perkins
Floyd concentrates his practice on counseling businesses and charities on financial and compliance matters, litigating business and financial disputes, and representing clients in contested probate and chancery matters.
Prior to joining Ungaretti & Harris, Floyd was Bureau Chief of the Illinois Attorney General’s Charitable Trusts Division for 14 years, where he was responsible for many of the office complex financial and business litigation matters concentrating in chancery and probate practice. He was most recently the supervising attorney in the Charitable Trust Bureau and was responsible for all litigation related to estates, trusts, or foundations initiated or defended by the Attorney General. His experience there included numerous trials of complex accounting issues, including multi-million dollar will contests and construction. He has an extensive background in working with trust and probate matters and in the laws and operations of charitable organizations.
