News: Charles Bernardini appointed by Illinois Governor Pat Quinn to Governor's Export Advisory Council

Ungaretti & Harris LLP is pleased to congratulate our partner, Charles R. Bernardini, on being appointed by Illinois Governor Pat Quinn to the Governor’s Export Advisory Council.

The Council will work with the Governor and other state officials and agencies to provide recommendations aimed at improving Illinois’ standing in the international marketplace. Council members will also serve as international ambassadors for Illinois.

Chairing the Council is Daniel Ustian, CEO of Navistar. Other Council members include Holly Agra (First Lady Cruises), Percivial Baretto-Ko (Astellas), Gregory Brown (Motorola Solutions), Jack Fortnum (Corn Products International), Richard Guebert (Illinois Farm Bureau), Mark Kern (St. Clair County Board), Dr. Hurley Meyers (DxR Development), Mayor Larry Morrissey (Rockford), Mike Mullen (CenterPoint Properties), Doug Oberhelman (Caterpillar), Pin Ni (Wanxiang America), Al Powers (NOW Foods), Daniel Schueller (Brad Foote Gear Works), Lee Voight (Takeda Pharmaceuticals), Donna Sims Wilson CastleOak Securities), Phyllis Wise (University of Illinois).

Charles Bernardini’s professional experience includes that of Managing Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Milan, Italy and President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Chicago-Midwest. He currently serves as Honorary Legal Advisor to the Italian Consulate in Chicago.
