News: Lateral Associates Join Ungaretti & Harris

Chicago, June 14, 2007 — Ungaretti & Harris LLP announced today the addition of two new lateral associates. David R. Brown and Elizabeth LaRocca have joined the firm’s Corporate, Securities & Finance and Healthcare Departments, respectively.

Mr. Brown, 31, focuses his practice on diverse corporate and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions and venture capital transactions. He was previously associated with Gould & Ratner LLP. He earned his J.D., with honors, in 2000 from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and his B.A. in 1997 from the University of Illinois.

Ms. LaRocca, 29, comes to Ungaretti & Harris from the American Medical Association, where she was healthcare counsel. Her experience includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating healthcare contracts, advising on fraud and abuse issues, and counseling on medical staff and hospital relationships. She earned her J.D. in 2003 from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her B.A. in 2000 from the University of Illinois.
