Ungaretti & Harris recently hosted Insight Information's Ninth Annual Negotiating and Drafting Major Business Agreements Conference at its Chicago office. Leading lawyers offered advice on understanding key issues to be addressed in a host of diverse agreements in a multitude of business areas as well as on state-of-the-art contract drafting practices.
Charles Wunsch, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Sprint Nextel, delivered the conference's keynote address on “The Role of Outside Legal Counsel: A General Counsel’s Perspective.” Mr. Wunsch offered insights into how outside counsel can provide more value and build better relationships with in-house lawyers.
David A. Bronner, Partner in the Corporate, Securities & Finance Department, served as Program Chair for the ninth consecutive year and also presented on asset, stock and merger agreements. Other Ungaretti & Harris presenters included Intellectual Property Practice Chair Roger H. Stein and Intellectual Property Counsel Bryan P. Sugar, who addressed licensing and IP agreements, and Corporate Associate David R. Brown, who presented on joint ventures and strategic alliances.
