News: Ungaretti & Harris Elects Three New Partners

Chicago, October 17, 2008 – Ungaretti & Harris LLP announced today that three new attorneys have been elected to partnership. Kamau A. Coar and Keith E. Edeus, Jr. are partners in the Litigation Department and Julie E. Treumann is a partner in the Corporate, Securities & Finance Department.

Mr. Coar focuses his practice on representing business clients in commercial disputes and representing employers in a wide array of employment matters. He also serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee and as a member of the Summer Associate Committee. Mr. Coar received his J.D. in 2001 from Duke University School of Law and his B.A. in 1998 from Johns Hopkins University.

Mr. Edeus concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, products liability, labor and employment and health care law. He received his J.D. magna cum laude in 1998 from Northern Illinois University and his B.S. in 1993 from Truman State University.

Ms. Treumann focuses her practice on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, healthcare transactions, information technology consulting and general business counseling. She also serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Wellness Committee. She received her J.D. in 2001 from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her B.A. magna cum laude in 1994 from St. Olaf College.
