News: Six Attorneys Join Ungaretti & Harris

Chicago, September 3, 2008 – Ungaretti & Harris welcomes six attorneys, including four first-year associates, to various practice areas within the firm.

Michele K. Malis has joined Ungaretti & Harris as counsel in the Trusts & Estates Group from the Law Offices of Michele K. Malis. Prior to opening her own firm, Ms. Malis served as Trust Counsel with Harris Bank in Chicago. Ms. Malis earned her B.A. in 1992 from the University of Southern California and her J.D. from Pepperdine University in 1996.

Megan H. McCarthy has joined the Healthcare Department as an associate. Ms. McCarthy, who joins the firm from Bricker & Eckler LLP in Columbus, Ohio, received her B.A. cum laude in 2004 from the University of Notre Dame and her J.D. magna cum laude in 2007 from Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

First Year Associates

Emily M. Dierberg has joined as an associate in the Litigation Department. Ms. Dierberg earned her B.S. in 2004 from the University of Missouri and her J.D. magna cum laude in 2008 from DePaul University College of Law.

Nile Park has joined as an associate in the Litigation Department. Ms. Park earned her B.A. in 2003 from Vassar College and her J.D. in 2008 from The George Washington University Law School.

Patrick F. Ross has joined Ungaretti & Harris as a Bankruptcy/Litigation Associate. Mr. Ross earned his B.A. magna cum laude in 2005 from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. summa cum laude in 2008 from DePaul University College of Law.

Aaron D. Werner has joined as an associate in the Corporate, Securities & Finance Department. Mr. Werner earned his B.A. in 2004 from the University of Wisconsin and his J.D. magna cum laude in 2008 from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
